Blue Flag 2023 for our beaches

Calpe has once again obtained three blue flags for the beaches of Arenal-Bol, La Fossa and Cantal Roig.
This "Blue Flag" recognition was created in France around 1985 by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEEE) with the aim of highlighting those beaches that "comply with a series of environmental, educational, safety and accessibility criteria", according to the organisation itself. In Spain, the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) is in charge of evaluating the applicants and carrying out the inspections. The beaches selected with the blue flag have accredited environmental information, offer users updated information on the quality of the bathing water, and must be easily accessible to anyone who requests it, also comply with the requirements and standards of excellent water quality, maintain the levels of safety and services and are managed in compliance with all the environmental requirements demanded of them.
In Calpe, apart from our blue flag beaches, we have many more beaches to enjoy such as Playa Arenal-Bol, Playa de Levante or La Fossa, Playa Puerto Blanco, Cala Morelló, Cala Manzanera, Playa Cantal Roig, Cala El Racó, Cala del Penyal, Cala Calalga, Cala del Mallorquí, Cala Les Bassetes, Cala El Collao, Cala Gasparet and Cala Les Urques.
We invite you all to get to know them.
